Hosting Labs Programme Registration

Hosting Labs Programme Registration

The 11th IBRO World Congress of Neuroscience will be hosted by the Spanish Society of Neuroscience (SENC) in Granada, Spain, on 9-13 September 2023. We are pleased to announce the IBRO World Congress Early Career Training Programme, which will provide short laboratory stays for early career researchers (ECRs) in labs located throughout Spain.

This programme facilitates opportunities for ambitious, talented ECRs from around the world wishing to advance their careers by experiencing a different research atmosphere. The host lab will also benefit from this type of exchange experience, as it might open new opportunities for future collaborations. Therefore, we would like to offer your lab this great opportunity to host one placement for this programme.

The successful applicants will join specific short and focused research projects, aimed to provide training in new techniques and networking opportunities for future exchanges, as well as experience a different working culture. It will be held 2-4 weeks preceding the IBRO World Congress 2023. Additionally, we would like all the participants to exchange the experiences undertaken in the host labs, and therefore we will launch a Satellite Event during the Congress where they can present the projects that were undertaken during the short research stay.
